Shine the Light is a departure from anything Phil Driscoll has ever done musically. Songs on the album include "Overnight Sensation", this song is autobiographical and a part of Phil's adventure and search for Christ. "Soul Inspiration" was written after Phil found the real love of his life. "I hope you can see there is a lot of me in this recording. The style I hope you will feel is uncontrived and a very real part of my roots."
